All About Angelique
Angelique A. Strothers (pronounced: ON-zjuh-leek, STRUH-thers, she gets asked a lot. LOL) is a uniquely gifted polymath. She is an enthusiastic intellectual-embracing a philosophy and posture of lifelong learning, as well as a licensed minister and consummate creative who communicates The Gospel of Jesus Christ through every medium at her disposal. She is an anointed psalmist, through whom God penetrates atmospheres, breaks yokes and delivers. She is a skilled and prolific writer of prose, poetry, stage plays and music as well as an engaging speaker and gifted actress. In and above all things, Angelique is an unashamed daughter of the Most High God.
Angelique is the author of In Pursuit of Surrender, an in-depth, intimate look at her own intense and intentional journey of surrender to God. She is also the creator of the In Pursuit of Surrender Journal, a companion workbook to help readers begin walking out their own journey of surrender with God.
Angelique has served The Body of Christ faithfully as a servant-leader for more than fifteen years. As such, she’s had the awesome privilege of serving as Worship Leader, Interim Worship Pastor, Worship Consultant, Trainer and Workshop Facilitator to develop disciples and worship ministries in Pittsburgh & surrounding areas. It’s been one of her greatest pleasures, to-date, to have created and successfully launched a Worship Leader Training Curriculum, through which she trained her inaugural cohort in 2020-2021.

Currently, Angelique works as a Teacher of Social Emotional Learning thru Film (S.E.L.F.) to K-5 scholars in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA.
Summarily, Angelique is a trailblazer, a nurturer, an actress, a creative and so much more. She is a multitude. And while she’s had the great privilege to do so much already, in her heart echo the words of two of the works of Robert Frost:
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
“But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep...”
Surrender has become Angelique's passion-her burn! Therefore, it is through books, conferences, coaching, worship, music and other creative arts and initiatives that Angelique intends to set the world on fire for God, one heart at a time.
